Loved this place, it was well appointed and gorgeous. The breakfast was marvellous and offered lots of options. I was given an extremely spacious room with comfortable bed and a large comfortable, as example. The staff from start to finish were amicable. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from Walnut Street Bridge.

Lovely old place, we didn't want to say goodbye.
We only stayed here for 2 nights, as we didn't have time, but everything was beautiful. Booked a room with comfortable bed.

Absolutely not worth it! The room was like a closet with no sitting area, can you believe it? Not to mention the front door was a workout to open! I was expecting a lovely welcome gift for my troubles but was greeted with, well, nothing. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

Charming vibes filled every corner of City House Bed And Breakfast. The gardens outside were exquisite. Inside, I loved the personal touches in my King Room, like the free toiletries and cozy decor. Breakfast was a standout. The selection of gluten-free muffins impressed me. Conversations with others during breakfast added a nice social element. My room felt a bit cramped with limited seating. The HULU setup had glitches, likely due to internet issues, but it didn't impact my stay much. It had a cozy, inviting feel, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring.

Charming stay with beautiful gardens and cozy, well-kept rooms.
The room I stayed in was a bit cramped, lacking enough seating for my comfort. While the breakfast was pleasant, it could have offered a wider array of options. I found myself wishing for more variety during my two-night visit, particularly given the popularity of the breakfast among guests.

Wow, what a gem of a place! the location was unbeatable, with fantastic restaurants just a stroll away and a great happy hour spot nearby. the hostess went above and beyond, even preparing a personalized breakfast for our early departure. the room was lovely, with a charming view and amenities like a fridge and coffee. the fresh, delicious breakfast with quiche and baked oatmeal was a delightful touch. Customer service was top-notch, with the innkeeper taking care of all our needs. Plus, the cleanliness, excellent bedding, and free parking exceeded expectations!
While the bedding was comfortable, a more updated and easily cleanable duvet would be a nice touch. More pillow options would also be appreciated.
